I’m not sure of the frequency involved but since there are three separate cables it is possible that a different length on the blue cable could slow down or speed up the signal enough to mask the problem. As far as software that will solve a hardware problem, it??? Thu Dec 9 IF this monitor is going to work at all, what you need is a video cable with 5 BNC connectors on one end, and a HD15 connector on the other. If the monitor doesnt support x, then you would have to use another monitor to set windows to the correct resolution and refresh rate, and then switch monitors.

There is no try! When IBM compatible computers boot up, they always use this video mode, and later in the boot sequence they switch to moitor mode you specify. Especially if the old one is giving me problems. I have a geforce 4 mx video card.
